Honesty is an interface problem, not a footer problem.
A footer disclaimer protects the company; language on the screen the user is looking at protects the user.
Every screen in the SEAM demo that could be mistaken for a working financial service says on its own face that it is not one — no licences, no bank partner, no money collected — rather than burying it in a footer.
A disclaimer in the footer protects the company. Language on the screen the user is actually looking at protects the user. When the product touches money and immigration status, the gap between those two is the whole ethical question.
Translation is part of this, not decoration on top of it. Draw becomes sacar, never prestar; put back becomes devolver, never pagar. Choose the second word in either pair and you have quietly told someone they are in debt.
